If you choose to use SMS-based account security, we may collect a phone number during registration, through profile or security settings, or during a suspicious activity verification flow. We only save a phone number as a trusted account phone number after successful SMS verification. Unverified numbers may be stored temporarily as pending values until verification is completed or abandoned.
SMS verification messages are transactional security messages, not marketing or promotional messages. Message and data rates may apply.

For SMS security and verification workflows, Mission Control may use Twilio to process phone numbers, verification codes, delivery metadata, verification status, and related authentication or security event data needed to deliver and confirm transactional SMS messages.

We do not sell personal information.

When information is no longer required, we securely delete or anonymize it where feasible.

We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
Security verification delivery may depend on mobile carriers and third-party providers such as Twilio, and Mission Control cannot guarantee that SMS messages will be delivered without delay in every circumstance.
However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
